Northport High Goes to Spain

During the February recess 32 students and five teachers from Northport High School enjoyed the wonderful opportunity of traveling throughout Spain, visiting five different cities, including Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Seville and Barcelona.

The trip was a great success and the students learned much about Spanish culture. Students were amazed by great works of art in the Prado Museum, saw some of El Greco's best work in Toledo, cooked tapas in Cordoba, took a dancing cruise in Cordoba, and rode bikes through Barcelona's beautiful streets.

The trip was organized by Spanish/Italian teacher Rob Dennis and the additional chaperones were Jacqueline Cunningham, Annette Giglio, Allison Schwabish, and Anahí Walton-Shafer.
