Stephen Waldenburg, Jr. spoke to Northport Patch on Friday about his stance on the most important issues facing the Northport-East Northport School District.
Waldenburg has served on the Board since 2000. A lifelong resident of Northport, he still volunteers with the Boy Scouts and plays the trombone for the Northport Community Band. He is running against incumbent Donna McNaughton, and newcomers David Badanes and James Maloney for a seat on the Board of Education.
Elections are on Tuesday May 15.
