Volunteerism for Older Adults

Join Paul Arfin, president of the not-for-profit Intergenerational Strategies, who will help you explore what type of volunteer work you might enjoy, as well as familiarize you with opportunities around Long Island. A passionate advocate for volunteerism, Mr. Arfin is the author of Portrait of a Peace Corps Gringo which recounts his early years as a Peace Corps volunteer. He has served as the chairman of the Suffolk County Commission on Creative Retirement and is a member of the Long Island Volunteer Hall of Fame. No registration required.
