Following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings on September 11, more than 50,000 first responders from across the country descended on New York City to assist. First-hand accounts of their bravery and profound generosity have been collected into oral histories by the Long Island World Trade Center Program at Stony Brook University. At this special program, representatives from the WTC Program Oral History Project will present some of these powerful oral histories, and one of the first responders documented in the videos will be present to share his experience. No registration required.
