Elwood Students Named Top Phys. Ed. Students in Suffolk

The top male and female students were recognized for their achievements in and out of gym class.

Two John H. Glenn High School students were recently recognized for being among the top physical education students in Suffolk County for their physical 
education achievement, scholastic achievement, outstanding character, physical education class leadership, leadership and positive role modeling. 

For their achievement, Mackenzie Sivilli and Griffin Ryan received the 
New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Suffolk Zone Awards. 

Each high school in the county recognizes the top male and female physical education students based on NYSAHPERD’s.

The students were recognized at the annual Suffolk Zone Awards Dinner at the 
Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge on Dec. 4.
