Northport-East Northport School District announced that there is a posisbility of early dismissal on Friday due to the impending storm. A message on the district's website says the time of the dismissal will be based upon weather conditions and that parents will be notified through Connect Ed.
Should school be dismissed early, there will be no after school programs.
Elwood School District has already announced an hour early dismissal for all buildings. All Elwood Care Programs will close at 4 p.m.
