The Northport-East Northport Board of Education meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the William Brosnan Building. The meeting has been classified as a regular business meeting under the new system.
On the agenda:
- The Board will present a first reading of revisions to the following policies: Policy #6240 "Investment Policy," Policy #6690 "Audit Committee," Policy #6700 "Purchasing Policy." The revised policies are attached as PDFs.
- The Superintendent will recommend approval of a Service Agreement between the Board of Education of the Northport-East Northport Union Free School District and Perkins School for the Blind for the period September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
- Recommendation to appoint Cullen & Danowski LLP as External Auditor for the 2012-2013 fiscal year, with an option to renew for the 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 fiscal years.
- Recommendation to approve Western Suffolk BOCES AS-7 Contract for Services for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
