Elections are just around the corner and campaigns are in full swing. 

In the Town of Huntington, Republican Town Board member Gene Cook is challenging incumbent Democratic Town Supervisor Frank Petrone for the supervisor's seat.

All 18 seats in the Suffolk County Legislature are also up for grabs. In the 13th District, Democrat Elaine Turley, Republican Rob Trotta, Conservative Paul Hennings and Independent Mario Mattera are on the ballot. In the 16th District, incumbent Democrat Steve Stern is running unopposed. In the 18th District, Democrat William Spencer faces Republican Robert Conte.
