Video: Man Removed from Town Board Meeting

Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone ejects Anthony Caruso from the June 6 Town Board meeting.

While describing the reasons for his "yes" vote regarding the AvalonBay zoning request, Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone ordered security to remove Anthony Caruso from the chamber for disrupting the proceedings at about 10 p.m., just as board members gave final opinions regarding the zoning vote on the Huntington Station project.

Throughout the meeting and during Petrone's speech, Caruso interrupted the meeting by shouting at the Town Board members.

Suffolk County police charged Caruso, 60, with 2nd degree harassment and disorderly conduct for the incident. He was released from custody hours after his arrest and is awaiting arraignment, according to police.
