The Town of Huntington's Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to remind all collection days are pushed back one day this week, including paper and carboard recycling.
Paper and carboard recycling will done for all areas on Thursday, Jan. 20.
If your garbage is normally collected on Monday and Thursday then your garbage will be picked up this week on Tuesday, Jan. 18 and Friday, Jan. 21.
If your garbage is normally collected on Tuesday and Friday then your garbage will be picked up this week on Wednesday, Jan. 19th and Saturday, Jan. 22.
The department asks that residents have all recyclables and garbage out to the curb before 6 a.m. to ensure timely collection.
The collection schedule returns to normal the week of January 23.

Additionally all residents are advised that there is no yardwaste or christmas tree collection scheduled during this week.
