Teen Parties, Ads on Youth Forum Agenda

Huntington Youth Council to discuss issues of importance to young.

High school students from around Huntington will participate in a youth forum Monday night at Town Hall.

The Huntington Youth Council, which was founded by Councilwoman Susan Berland in 2003,  has invited students to the event designed to engage students in local issues.

The group meets twice a month to discuss issues of interest to young people.

Monday’s agenda features three topics identified by student representatives: adult supervision at teenage parties, youth-targeted advertisements and security cameras in public places.
