Question of the Day: New 7-Eleven at Waterside and 25A?
Do you support a proposal to build a 7-Eleven on the current site of Nocello's?
There are currently at least three 7-Eleven stores in Northport and East Northport. One on Laurel Avenue at Dickinson Avenue; another at Pulaski and Larkfield roads, and a third on Larkfield and Clay Pitts Road.
Tonight the Town of Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals will consider a request by property owner Irv Brower for relief from code requirements for "parking, buffer and design standards" for a new 7-Eleven at the corner of Waterside Avenue and Route 25A on the site where Nocello's is currently located.
The restaurant would be demolished, and a one-story 2,600-square-foot convenience store would be built.
