Northport's O'Donohoe to Seek County Exec Position

Commissioner of Jurors latest to declare candidacy.

Crab Meadow resident Michael O'Donohoe, will run for county executive in the next election on the Conservative Party line, he confirmed today.

O'Donohoe is a former county legislator, but has served in his current appointed position since 1993.

He also serves on the Suffolk County Judicial Facilities Agency.

O'Donohoe was about to announce his candidacy , according to Newsday.

O'Donohoe graduated from in 1967. He is married to fellow gradutate Linda Richter O'Donohoe according to the Northport High School Class of 1967 alumnus page.

The couple have two sons, Michael and Brian.

O'Donohoe is not alone in announcing his candidacy for the county executive position. So far, , , County Legislator John Kennedy, R-Smithtown, and State Senator John Flanagan, R-Northport, have expressed interest or announced they will run.
