Asharoken Village Elections Tuesday

New trustee, judge running for seats.

Asharoken village elections are taking place Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Eatons Neck Fire House. 

The following candidates are seeking office and terms as follows:

Two Trustees (Two-year Terms)

Mary (Pam) Pierce
Pierce has served on the board of trustees since 2011 and currently serves as Deputy Mayor.

Ian Jablonski
Jablonski currently serves on the village's Duck Island Dredging Committee.

One Trustee (One-year Term)

Laura Rittenhouse Burke
Burke has served on the board since 2012 when she was appointed by Mayor Greg Letica to replace Joseph Tilleli.

One Village Justice (One-year Term)

Mark D. Kleczka
Kleczka is an attorney specializing in commercial and residential real estate and insurance and commercial litigation. 

Trustee Joseph Catanzano's term expires on July 1, 2013. He is not seeking reelection.

A blood drive will be held at the firehouse during the election. Those going to the polls are encouraged to donate.
