The Village of Asharoken Board of Trustees extended a moratorium Tuesday on building permit fees for damages caused by Hurricane Sandy, as reported on Asharoken.com.
The moratorium will expire on July 31. Mayor Greg Letica advised residents to contact building inspector Doug Adil to determine if a permit is needed for repairs and if they are eligible for the moratorium.
There are no plans at this time to extend the moratorium past July 31.
