The Northport Board of Trustees meets Monday at 6 p.m. in Village Hall. Among the items on the agenda:
- The Village Clerk, Deputy Village Clerk, Treasurer Deputy, Treasurer, Village Administrator, and all other full and part-time employees none of whom are members of any bargaining unit that is party to a bargaining agreement with the Village shall hereby receive a salary increase of $1.00 per hour effective April 1, 2012 and a salary increase of 2.5 percent effective April 1, 2013.
- John Maloy of Rowena Lane, East Northport is hereby hired as part time (not to exceed 17 ½ hrs weekly) Plans Examiner (assistant to the Administrator) at a rate of $22.00/hr.
- Thomas Endee be and hereby is appointed to full time position as Sergeant in the Northport Police Department effective March 24, 2013 at the annual salary and other conditions and benefits of employment, pursuant to the Collective Bargaining agreement between the Village of Northport and the Northport Police Department Benevolent Association.
