Agenda: Northport Board of Trustees Meeting

The Northport Village Board is meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Village Hall. Among the items on the agenda:

Requests

• A request from American Legion to conduct annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Monday, May 27.

• A revised request from Northport Chamber for Tuesday Night Family Nights Aug. 6, 13, 20, and 27.

Resolutions

• The Northport Police Department is hereby authorized to purchased Police radios from Motorola Solutions and said purchase to be funded by the following accounts $37,094.00 from the SCPD E911 fund; $11,694.23 from the Chase Bank Police Equipment account;$2500.00; from the Police radio repair line; $36,918.36 from the SCPD E-911 fund (2013) to be received by the end of the fiscal year.

• The Village Board hereby authorizes the expenditure to Gannett

• Fleming in the amount of $45,700 for engineering costs associated with the Sewer and Manhole Televising/Inspection of areas 2, 3, 4, and 5.

• The Village Board hereby authorizes the expenditure to Gannett Fleming in the amount of $3,400 for engineering costs associated with review of Sewer Plant Operations

• That the Village Administrator is hereby authorized to purchase a John Deere Select Series X300 in the amount of $3,249.00 from LaCorte Farm & Lawn Equipment, Calverton, NY as the sole source, and that the Village purchasing guidelines regarding the obtaining of price quotations be waived.
