UPDATE: Convenience Store Robbery Suspects Arrested

Suffolk Police arrested three men on Friday suspected of robbing convenience stores in Northport, Commack, and Bay Shore earlier this month.

The three men suspected of an at in Northport on Sept. 10 were arrested early Friday morning shortly after robbing a 7-Eleven in East Islip.

Suffolk County Police arrested Reggie Lewis, 20, of Brooklyn, Jeffrey Francis, 21, of Medford, and Travis Towler, 23, of Brooklyn, on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia after a fifth precinct officer pulled them over for matching the getaway car description.

The three men were charged with the first degree robbery of the 7-Eleven and a Getty Gas Station in Bay Shore on Sept. 7. Francis and Towler were also charged with the and with the first degree attempted robbery of Metro Mart in Northport, both on Sept. 10.

All three were arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
