Suffolk Police Report: Reckless Driving; Theft

Second Precinct arrests, Sept. 25-30

The following was taken from the Suffolk County Police Department crime blotter. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Mark Fairchild, 58, from East Northport was arrested in East Northport on Sept. 30 and charged with reckless driving after he allegedly ran a red light at Pulaski and Cedar around 4:40 p.m. and struck another car.
  • Lethicia Gabriel, 27, of East Northport was arrested in Huntington Station on Sept. 26 after he allegedly stole clothes and backpacks from Walmart in Huntington Station and Old Navy in Commack.

The first story is interesting because Pulaski does not intersect with Cedar. Did you get this story from Newsday?

Pulaski Intersects Cedar St. in Kings Park though

Richard - but it says he was arrested in East Northport, not in Kings Park. It must be Cedar Road and it intersects with Larkfield Road in East Northport (as the main road).
