The following was taken from the crime blotter, with the exception of one item from the Port Chester, NY Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
- Christopher Fazio, 21, of East Northport was arrested on Aug. 20 after Port Chester Police . Police say he also had prescription pills in his pocket. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
- Mee Park, 25, from Smithtown was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 18 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation after she allegedly drove without a license.
- Rachel Boerke, 22, from East Northport was arrested in Huntington Station on Aug. 18 and charged with petty larceny after she allegedly stole cash from a person at a home.
- Joseph Papik, 24, from East Northport was arrested on Second Ave. and Elwood in East Northport on Aug. 16 and charged with three counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was allegedly found in possession of prescription drugs, cocaine, and heroin.
- Melissa Buchanan, 31, from Northport was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 15 and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation after she allegedly drove without a license.
