The following was taken from the crime blotter. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
- Carla Donovan, 26, from East Northport was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 24 and charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal possession of marijuana, and seventh degree possession of a controlled substance for prescription pills.
- Julia Jindracotilla, 28, from Northport was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 22 and charged with third degree criminal tampering and petty larceny after she allegedly poured sugar into someone's gas tank and stole cosmetics from CVS.
- Salvatore Saccente, 36, from Northport was arrested in Northport on Aug. 22 and charged with third degree criminal tampering after he allegedly poured sugar in gas tank with Jindracotilla.
- Rachel Boerke, 22, from East Northport was arrested in Huntington on Aug. 18 and charged with petty larceny after she allegedly stole $700 from a person on New York Avenue.
