Suffolk Police Incidents: Vandalism at Mosque; Break-Ins

Incidents reported in the second precinct, July 22-29.

The following incidents were reported by the Suffolk County Police Department between July 22 and 29.

Someone threw a piece of metal through a window at the Masjid Noor Mosque on Park Avenue in Huntington.

A Larkfield Road, East Northport man's credit card number was stolen and used to make online purchases. 

A woman left her diamond ring at Boca Tanning Salon on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station. She alerted an employee who said she'd keep it in the register. The woman claims that when she returned to get the ring, it was gone. 

A person was harassed on East 4th Street in Huntington Station.

Someone slashed the rear tire of car parked in a driveway on Wyoming Drive in Huntington Station.

Someone broke the windshield of a car on Lebkamp Avenue in Elwood. 

Someone stole two credit cards from a person in Northport and charged items in Staten island and Valley Stream.

A Greenlawn resident discovered that a window screen on their home had been cut and someone attempted to break in.

A small flower pot was set on fire at Sedoni Gallery on New York Avenue in Huntington, damaging the adjoining wall. 

A woman heard a loud bang inside her Fenwood Road, Huntington Station home and found a water jug on the kitchen floor. She then saw that her back porch screen had been cut and a window was open. When she went back inside she found her TV missing.
