Suffolk Police Incidents: Muggings; Plaque Damaged

Incidents reported in the second precinct between March 29 and April 5.

The following incidents were reported in the Suffolk Police second precinct between March 29 and April 5.

  • A man was reportedly struck on the head and robbed of his iPhone and money on 19th Street in Huntington Station. He required medical treatment at the hospital after the assault.
  • Someone demanded money from a Huntington Station woman during a phone scam after claiming her grandson was in jail.
  • Someone smashed in the side door of a Clay Street, Huntington Station home and stole unspecified items.
  • Three men reportedly struck a man on the street with a pistol in Huntington Station and stole his money and cell phone.
  • A 2006 Honda CRV was stolen from a driveway in Huntington Station.
  • Someone broke a dedication plaque and set a vending machine on fire in Breezy Park, Huntington Station.
  • A disorderly intoxicated man was oberved kicking and damaging someone's front door in East Northport.
