Suffolk Police Incidents: Laptop Stolen from Hospital

The following incidents occurred between Feb. 17-21.

The following incidents took place in the Huntington and East Northport areas between Feb. 17 and 21 according to the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct.

  • Someone pried the padlock off of a landscape trailer on 6th Avenue in Huntington Station and removed equipment.
  • Someone stole a laptop from the first conference room at Huntington Hospital on Feb. 19
  • A Huntington woman answered an add on Craigslist for a house rental in Killington, Vermont. She deposited money upon request and later found that property does not exist.
  • A road rage incident occurred on East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station. One person followed another to a location, where one person was spit on, and a physical altercation ensued.
  • Someone threw a rock through the kitchen window of a Huntington Station home. The complainant noted that the bedrooms were disturbed, but it wasn't apparent if anything was taken.
  • A member of Snap Fitness on Jericho Turnpike in Elwood had the front side window of their 2005 Hyundai Sonata smashed in and pocketbook stolen.
  • Money and a purse were stolen from a car parked in a driveway on West 4 Street  in Huntington Station.
  • A 1996 Plymouth Neon was stolen from in front of a medical building on Main Street in Huntington.
