Suffolk Police Incidents: Head Punch, Cash Grab

Incidents reported in the second precinct from March 13-18.

The following incidents were taken from the Suffolk Police second precinct crime blotter over the past week and a half.

  • A man was punched in head on Park Avenue in Huntington on March 15.
  • While in car on eastbound Pulaski Road in Huntington, two men pulled up alongside a man and yelled racial obscenities and threw a water bottle at him.
  • While on Mcdonalds on Jericho Turnpike in Elwood, an unknown man stole a wallet from someone while they were online ordering meal.
  • An alarm was set off after a rear bedroom window was broken on Kenneth Avenue in Elwood. The master bedroom was ransacked, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
  • Someone grabbed a man while walking northbound on New York Avenue in Huntington Station. The subject put hand under his shirt and told him to give money, then fled with the cash.
  • Someone broke a passenger side window and stole a should bag, a wallet, and cash out of a 2010 Land Rover in a Huntington municipal parking lot.
