Suffolk Police Incidents: A Stick Up and a Throw Down

The following incidents occurred between Feb. 23 and 28.

The following incidents took place in the Huntington and East Northport areas between Feb. 23 and 28 according to the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct.

  • On Feb. 27, a man got out of the passenger side of a car in East Northport and began a conversation with another man. Allegedly, when the man noticed that the other man had cash on hand, he went back to his car, grabbed a gun, and pointed it at the man while demanding his cash.
  • On Feb. 24, four men got in a fight in the parking lot near Artful Dodger in Huntington. One man was punched in the face and kicked while he was on the ground.
  • On Feb. 27, a man punched another man in the ribs in Huntington Station on East 3rd Street.
  • On Feb. 26, someone had their car keyed in Huntington Station on Frog Pond Road.
  • On Feb. 27, someone pried open a back window to a home in East Northport and stole jewelry, cash, and a Macbook Pro.
  • On Feb. 25, someone stole a 1996 Honda Civic from a driveway in South Huntington.
  • On Feb. 26, a worker at Tex Mex Grill on Gerard Street in Huntington allegedly punched another man in the face during training and left.
  • On Feb. 25, someone broke the passenger side window of a car in the Maplewood Intermediate School parking lot in Huntington and stole an iPad, cash, a purse, credit cards and a drivers license. 
  • On Feb. 24, the front window of Rachel's Hair and Nails in Huntington was smashed in.
