Suffolk Police Arrests: Man Accused of Burglarizing Several Bagel Shops

Arrests reported in the second precinct between April 25 and May 5.

The following arrests were reported in the Suffolk Police Second Precinct between April 25 and May 5.

Stephen Nielsen, 46, a homeless man, was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, reckless driving, resisting arrest, seven counts of third degree burglary, and second degree assault. Nielsen allegedly broke into seven businesses, most of which were bagel shops, in the Huntington, Commack, Dix Hils, and Elwood area between April 21 and May 3. He stole the cash register in five of seven attempts. Nielsen also allegedly fled police in his car at a high speed when they tried to pull him over and assaulted and injured a police officer while resisting arrest.

Antonio Spicer, 49, from Springfield was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury after he allegedly kicked and punched a woman on 13th Street.

Ethan Carlin, 24, from East Northport was arrested at Bottle Bargain in Northport and charged with petty larceny after he allegedly stole a bottle of liquor.

Lethicia Gabriel, 29, from East Northport was arrested in at Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station and charged with stealing assorted jewelry from Lord and Taylor.

Christopher Dutton, 21, from Kings Park was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury after he allegedly punched a man on Clinton Street.

Martin Acampora, 58, from Baldwin was arrested in Huntington and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury after he allegedly punched and shoved a man.
