Suffolk County Police Report: Criminal Mischief at Verizon Wireless
The following arrests were made and incidents reported by Suffolk County police officers between Aug. 4-10.
The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between Aug. 4-9.
Arrests:
- Stephen Pergolizzi, 24, of East Northport, was arrested in Northport on Aug. 5 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident which caused property damage.
- Jonathan Hall, 26, of Northport, was arrested in Northport on Aug. 4 and charged with second degree harassment: physical contact.
- Dora Dettling, 50, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 9 and charged with issuing a bad check with knowledge of insufficient funds.
- Kevin Signorelli, 28, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 9 and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: more than three suspensions.
- Daniel Hardy, 20, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 8 and charged with petit larceny.
- William Campbell, 28, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 7 and charged with second degree criminal contempt for violating a court order of protection.
- Alan Becker, 21, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 7 and charged with first degree criminal contempt.
- John Grigonis, 53, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 6 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC .08 of 1%. First offense.
- Rudi Fuentes, 34, of Huntington Station, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 6 and charged with DWI. First offense.
- James Yates, 30, of East Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 4 and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: more than three suspensions.
- Roy Reyling, 58, of Northport, was arrested in East Northport on Aug. 4 and charged with third degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- William Leon, 52, of East Northport, was arrested in Hauppauge on Aug. 5 and charged with three counts of grand larceny for property value exceeding $1000.

- In the fourth incident of school vandalism this summer, a security guard reported that 18 windows were broken at the Norwood Avenue Elementary School on Aug. 5.
- On Aug. 6, a Hewitt Drive resident in Fort Salonga reported that someone made chronic phone calls to his home.
- On Aug. 10, someone placed a device containing five to six nails in the driveway of Verizon Wireless which resulted in a report of tire damage.
- On Aug. 9, there were four separate reports of mailbox damage on Warner Court in Elwood.
- On Aug. 9, the tires on two separate vehicles were damaged after the drivers ran over some type of object at Verizon Wireless on Larkfield Road in Elwood.
- On Aug. 9, a Doti Court resident reported damage to his mailbox.
- On Aug. 9 a Laura Lane resident in East Northport reported that someone removed jewelry valued at more than $1000 from the home.
- On Aug. 9, a Homesite Court resident in Elwood reported that someone scratched the left front fendor of his 2000 Honda.
- On Aug. 8, a woman at Retro Fitness on East Jericho Turnpike in Elwood reported that someone broke the window of her 2002 GMC and went through her bag without taking any items.
- On Aug. 8, a man reported being followed by a black Ford after he left Verizon Wireless as he drove on his way home.
- On Aug. 8, a Timber Ridge Drive resident in Elwood reported that someone smashed his mailbox.
- On Aug. 5, a Greenhill Lane resident in Elwood reported receiving harassing cell phone messages.
