Suffolk Police Blotter: 3 Stolen Rings,1 Persistent Woman and More

The following arrests were made and incidents reported by Suffolk County police officers between May 1-6.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between May 1-6:

  • Christopher Little, 28, of Northport, was arrested in Huntington Station on May 6 and charged with DWI. First offense.
  • Andrew Seppanen, 25, of East Northport, was arrested in Smithtown on May 6 and charged with DWI. First offense.
  • Steven Ekenstierna, 22, of East Northport, was arrested in Huntington on May 6 and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree: narcotic drug and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
  • A 31-year-old man from Northport was arrested in Fort Salonga on May 5 and charged with forgery, second degree: med prescription.

The following incidents were reported to the Suffolk County Police Department between May 1-5:

  • On May 1, a woman reported that she was hit in the stomach by another person at on Larkfield Road in East Northport. The woman refused medical attention.
  • On May 2, a Catherine Street resident in East Northport reported that someone had stolen his debit card and used it to make a large purchase.
  • On May 3, someone at on Larkfield Road in East Northport reported being repeatedly harassed by a woman who kept sending pictures of herself via email.
  • On May 3, an Orton Drive resident in East Northport reported that someone shot a BB gun through one of his windows, causing property damage.
  • On May 1, a Fort Salonga Road resident in Fort Salonga reported that someone removed a metal fence post from his property.
  • On May 2, a Laurel Hill Road resident in Northport reported receiving annoying and alarming emails.
  • On May 4, someone broke the passenger side window of a 2008 Mercedes while it was parked in front of on Fort Salonga Road in Fort Salonga.
  • On May 5, a Daly Road resident in East Northport reported that someone broke through the rear door of her home and removed three gold rings.
