Suffolk County Police Blotter: Cars and Mailboxes Targeted in Elwood
The following arrests were made and incidents reported by Suffolk County police officers between June 22-27
The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between June 22-26.
Arrests:
- A 17-year-old East Northport man was arrested in East Northport on June 26 and charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree.
- A 17-year-old East Northport man was arrested in East Northport on June 23 and charged with DWAI combined drugs/alcohol.
- Cecelia Kraus, 37, of Commack, was arrested in East Northport on June 23 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content .08 of 1%. First offense.
- Michael Micciantuono, 19, of Commack, was arrested in East Northport on June 23 and charged with false personation.

The following incidents were reported to the Suffolk County Police Department between June 22-27:
- On June 27, a Foothill Lane resident in Elwood reported that someone shattered the rear window of her 1999 Acura while it was parked in the driveway.
- On June 27, a Brookhill Lane resident in Elwood reported that someone scratched the driver’s side door of both of her 2011 Cadillac SRXs while they were parked in front of her home.
- On June 27, someone damaged the tires and rear view mirror on a 2010 Nissan and a 2010 Toyota while they were parked in a driveway on Newfoundland Avenue in Elwood.
- On June 25, a Whistler Hill Lane resident in Elwood reported that someone damaged her mailbox.
- On June 25, a Darrow Lane resident in Elwood reported that someone damaged his mailbox.
- On June 23, someone stole landscaping equipment from a trailer while it was parked in the parking lot of on Fort Salonga Road in Northport.
- On June 22, an unknown woman hit another woman in the face in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Pulaski Road in East Northport.
