Police Seeking Help to Find Gas Station Robber

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a gas station in Miller Place last month. 

The man entered the BP gas station, located at 356 Route 25A, on May 27 at approximately 11:05 p.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash, police said. 

The man fled with money into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said.

The robber is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and 140-170 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black shirt, tan shorts, and black ankle-high sneakers at the time of the robbery. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
