Police Seek Men Who Stole Sheets

Two men stole a bedding set from Sears in Elwood on June 18.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are
seeking the public’s help in indentifying and locating two men who stole
merchandise from in Elwood.

On June 18, at approximately 4:50 p.m., two unknown men entered Sears, took the escalator to the second floor, walked over to the bedding department, and took a king sized bedding set worth $210 from the display. The suspects went back down the escalator and walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise.


One subject was described as a white male, approximately 30 to 35 years old, with a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing glasses and had on jeans and a long sleeved, button down Polo brand shirt. The other subject was white with a tan complexion and several tattoos. He was wearing jeans and a long sleeved, plaid button down shirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for
information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is
asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will
be kept confidential.
