Police Seek Help ID'ing Face-Cream Thieves

Two men were seen taking $1,000 worth of Olay face cream from CVS.

Maybe they were feeling a little wrinkly. Perhaps a little saggy. 

Whatever the reason, police say two men stole $1,000 of anti-aging face cream from a Northport CVS last month.

On Thursday, Jan. 20. at around 3p.m., an unknown black malewearing a black, puffy coat entered the CVS at 10-3 Fort Salonga Rd. and left with approximately 15 boxes of Olay Professional Pro-X facial cream, valued at $40 per box, after putting them into a light-blue bag.

The man, estimated to be between 45 and 55 years old and who walks with a limp, then left the store without paying for the merchandise and fled the scene in a silver or gold four-door Pontiac.   

The same vehicle was observed fleeing the CVS/pharmacy in Kings Park the next day after another petit larceny of the same facial cream.  On Friday Jan. 21 at around 7p.m., two black males entered the Kings Park CVS and stole 12 boxes of the cream.

One subject has a medium complexion, 5’9”, 190 pounds and was wearing white sneakers, blue jeans, a striped shirt, a puffy jacket with a fur collar and a black knit bill cap. The second subject is a light-skinned black male, 5’7”, 220 pounds wearing a gold color shirt, blue jeans, construction work boots and a black jacket.
