Photos: Kitten Rescued from Sewer Drain

Suffolk emergency workers save animal from certain death.

Officers of the Suffolk County Emergency Rescue Services responded to a call Thursday on Iceland Drive in Huntington of a baby kitten, which had fallen into a sewer drain. Police were able to finally scoop the cat out using a fish net and bring it to safety.

Leah, that is a great story. It is great to see this type of story related to law and order than those affiliated with the police page.
