Brakes Cut

A woman reported that she had attempted to back out of her driveway on Woodhull Place Nov. 7 when she found she had no brakes. When she brought the car to her mechanic he said that both brake lines had been cut.

Saran-Wrapped

A man called the police after finding his car wrapped in Saran Wrap on Nov. 8 but soon dropped pursuit of the matter after finding out that it was a practical joke.

Identity Theft

A man filed a report for identity theft on Nov. 1 after his CitiBank card was used by an unauthorized person in Seattle, Washington.

Stolen Cars

A gray 2009 Chevy Silverado valued at $30,000 was reportedly stolen from Mariners Lane between Nov. 1 and 2.

A woman on Laurel Street claimed on Nov. 3 that her 2000 Hyundai Sonata was stolen from her driveway.

Fraud/Forgery

A representative at the Hartt Insurance Agency claimed on Nov. 3 that a businessowner is producing forged insurance documents with improper policy numbers showing that his company has the proper liability insurance when the policies are no longer valid.

Road Hazard

A boat fell off its trailer onto Ocean Avenue on Nov. 4 after slipping off its hitch.

Raccoon Overload

A woman on Main Street told her neighbor on Nov. 7 that she was unhappy with so many racoons being in the area and accused her of feeding them. The neighbor reportedly responded by yelling and cursing at her.
