Five Arrested, Seven Injured Following Brawl at Makamah House Party

Three uninvited guests were asked to leave, then returned to allegedly start a brawl.

Five men were arrested at Huntington Hospital following a New Year's Eve party in Fort Salonga that erupted in to a brawl, sending six to the hospital, Suffolk police said.

Justin Femiano, 19, of Makamah Road, was having a party at his home Friday night when three uninvited men arrived at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Femiano and some party guests had an argument with the uninvited guests and the three men were asked to leave the party, which they did.

Approximately one hour later, however,  they returned to the party with two additional men and forced their way into the home armed with a pole and knives.

After gaining entry, the group assaulted several people within the home and then fled the scene.

Three 19-year-old men suffered stab wounds and were taken to Huntington Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. A fourth male suffered head lacerations and was treated and released from Huntington Hospital.

While police were at the hospital investigating the incident, the five uninvited men arrived there at approximately 2 a.m. for treatment of injuries that two men within the assaulting group themselves sustained.

The group was taken into custody by Suffolk County Second Precinct officers and arrested.
