Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Brentwood Thursday morning.
Stephen Milliner was operating a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Suffolk Avenue west of Lukens Avenue, at 10:45 a.m., when he struck a 1996 Toyota Corolla being driven by Maicol Teodovich. Teodovich was traveling eastbound and attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot, when Milliner hit the Corolla attempting to avoid the vehicle.
Milliner, 28, of Brentwood, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he died from his injuries. Teodovich, 45, of East Northport, was not injured.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Teodovich received a summons for driving an unregistered vehicle.
