Christopher Cipoletti, 26, of East Northport, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with third degree robbery and fourth degree attempted grand larceny stemming from his July 13 crime spree.
Police say Cipoletti jumped into the passenger side of a car at the drive thru ATM, located at 271 Larkfield Road in East Northport. The bandit claimed he had a gun before making off on foot with cash from a woman who was withdrawing money.
Cipoletti was also implicated in an unsuccessful robbery attempt on the same day of a man making a withdrawal from the ATM at at 385 Larkfield Road.
Cipoletti will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
