E. Northport Sex Abuse Arrest

Police: Woman fondled at Laurel Road 7-Eleven early Tuesday.

An E. Northport man was arrested Tuesday after Suffolk County Police said he fondled a woman outside a 7-Eleven.

Juan Buesoramos, 25, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse after allegedly touching a 48-year-old woman inappropriately in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 223 Laurel Road, police said.

Suffolk Police said the victim, whose name is being withheld, bought a cup of coffee at 2 a.m. Tuesday and was grabbed in the lot after exiting the store.

The woman struggled to get away, but police said Buesoramos pushed her toward the rear of the building. During the struggle Buesoramos attempted to kiss the woman several times and exposed himself, police said.

The woman eventually broke free and flagged the store clerk for help.

A police perimeter was set up but yielded nothing.

During a canvass of the area at 7:25 a.m., Officer Frank Muoio spotted Buesoramos, who matched the description of the suspect and transported him to the Second Precinct.

In addition to sex abuse, Buesoramos is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for presenting a counterfeit U.S. Resident Alien Card to officers while he was being interviewed.
