A report on the latest arrests and incidents in the towns around Northport.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau and Suffolk County Police Departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Huntington

A man was found dead in the street in Huntington Station early Saturday. According to Suffolk County police, officers found Juan Carlos Benitez-Garcia, 31, stabbed and lying on the road near the intersection of New York Avenue in Huntington Station after a call to 911. He was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:37 a.m.

Jarrett Pagano from Melville was arrested Aug.13 in Huntington Station for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation with 3 or more suspensions.

Cindy Digiuseppi from New Hyde Park was arrested Aug. 12 in Huntington for first-degree unlawfully dealing alcohol to a child.

Melissa Bishop from Huntington was arrested in Huntington for first-degree unlawfully dealing alcohol to a child.

Giuseppe Iannucci from Westbury was arrested in Huntington for first-degree unlawfully dealing alcohol to a child.

Satbir Singh from Huntington was arrested in Huntington for first-degree offering to file false instrument.

Babylon Village

Meihui Gao, of New York, was arrested in Babylon and charged with trademark counterfeiting.

Patrick Ehrhardt, of Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with criminal mischief.

Hicksville

Nassau County police reported the following Aug. 10 arrests:

Stefanie Tag, 18, petty larceny, Sears, Hicksville.

Nicholas Lucarello, 28, robbery, Sears, Hicksville.

Frances Torelli, 16, petty larceny, Sears, Hicksville.

Nassau police reported that on Aug. 14, a grand larceny occurred when an iPod and cash were stolen from a car at the Broadway Mall.

Centereach

Christine Baltieri, 42, of Stony Brook, was arrested Aug. 1 on Route 25 in Centereach and charged with second degree harassment. According to police, Baltieri allegedly threatened to choke the driver of the taxi in which she was a passenger.
