Huntington

Fred Simmons from Brentwood was arrested in Huntington Station for 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon/loaded firearm.

Nicholas Demaio from Huntington was arrested in Huntington Station for 2nd degree harassment with physical contact.

Ronald B. King Jr. from Dix Hills was arrested in Huntington for 2nd degree criminal contempt disobeying court order.

Scott Perino, 29, of Patchogue was arrested in Hauppauge July 24 on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said officers saw Perino wandering aimlessly outside The Bagel Gallery. When police approached him and asked for his identification, he took out a rolled marijuana cigarette. Perino was arrested on the spot and was also found to be intoxicated, according to police.

Farmingdale

Two men robbed a public storage facility on Route 110 last week, Suffolk County police said.

According to the police report, two men entered , at approximately 11:35 a.m. One of the men took out a handgun and ordered the three employees to lay down behind the counter. The two men then tied the employees up and stole cash and a cell phone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

Woodbury

The Nassau County Second Squad reported the arrest of a Jericho man for possession of a forged instrument made on Aug.2  in Woodbury. According to detectives, on May 22, Melvin Pagan, 30, of 220 Dawson Lane, entered the Walgreens located at 406 S. Oyster Bay Road and attempted to pass a forged prescription for Vicoden. The pharmacist identified the prescription as fake and notified the police.
