Cops Seek Man Who Shopped with Stolen Credit Cards

Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the suspect.

Suffolk County police seek the public's help in identifying and locating a man who used stolen credit cards from a car in Fort Salonga in May.

Detectives say that on May 18 a man entered a vehicle that was parked in a driveway on Heights Road and stole a wallet containing cash, a gift card and credit cards. He later used the credit cards at several locations.

The man is described as having a goatee and glasses. He was wearing a black drag and a light-colored sweatshirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
