Two men were caught on store surveillance footage taking more than 70 razor cartridge packs from CVS at the corner of Daly Road and Jericho Turnpike in Elwood last month, according to Suffolk County Police.

Second squad detectives and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking the public's help in identifying and locating the two suspects.

According to police, two men entered the store, located at 2000 Route 25, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, 2013, and stole more than 70 packs of Gillette Razor cartridges. The two suspects fled the store in a silver or gray pickup truck.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Why so long after the incident took place are you publishing this "help" request???

Given the exorbitant prices for those razor cartridges, I'm not surprised.

A very helpful description of the suspects: 'two men'. I can conclude by stealing razors, they may have been either hirsute or liked to keep themselves well groomed. Whatever the case, it's a pointless and poorly written article.

Oh, nevermind. I just saw the photos. I can eliminate my husband and my son from the long list of 'two men'.

I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR HUSBAND AND SON, IF YOU OVER REACT LIKE THIS IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD. THE ARTICLE HAD LOCATION, DATE, TIME, LOSS, PARTIAL DESCRIPTION WITH PHOTO'S AND MEANS OF ESCAPE. THE CLOTHING WORN ON THESE TWO MEN IS SIGNIFICANT. CLEARLY, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE ARTICLE THOROUGHLY BEFORE COMMENTING.

Yes Archie, point well taken. ComMom must be a real nag at home and a pleasure to live with.

"I asked you to pick up milk on your way home! One simple thing, and you couldn't be bothered. I can't believe you!" "Uh, I DID get milk. Did you bother to look in the fridge, where I put it?" Lol, I'm sure its a real joy.
