Korean War Veteran William J. Sheridan of East Northport passed away on Dec. 4 at age 84.
He was the loving husband of Mary (Marie) Sheridan (nee Baldwin), caring father of William J. Sheridan (Kathryn), Eileen M. Finta (John) and Kathleen M. De Friest (Glenn), fond grandfather of Patrick Sheridan (Tara), Matthew Sheridan, Alex Finta, Danny Finta, Mary De Friest, and John De Friest.
Reposing will be at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home on Saturday, 2-6 p.m. only. V.F.W. Elwood & Commack Service at the funeral home at 2:30 on Saturday. Northport American Legion post #694, service Saturday at Funeral Home T.B.D. Funeral mass Monday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment, with U.S. Military Honors, at Calverton National Cemetery.
