Former Northport Resident, Grumman Worker Dies in Florida

Theodore Felber died last Friday in Melbourne, Florida. He was 76 years old.

Former Northport resident Theodore Felber died last Friday in Melbourne, Florida. He was 76 years old.

Felber was born in 1936 in East Meadow and later moved to Northport before eventually heading to Florida in 1990.

Felber was one of the many Long Islanders to work for Northrup Grumman Corp, his tenure lasting 30 years. He worked on the F-14, the Lunar Landing Module and the E 8 Joint Stars, a radar plane developed by the company.

In Florida, Felber owned Mario's Village Restaurant in Satellite Beach.

Felber leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Judy, his sons Andrew and Kenneth, and several grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Satellite Beach, Florida.
