Northport Christmas Tree to Light Up Main St.
Reindeer, Santa and his helpers will be in Village Park tonight to light up the Village with holiday cheer.
Santa, his helpers and actual reindeer will highlight the Northport Village Christmas Tree Lighting tonight in Village Park.
Locals can see live reindeer from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., courtesy of the Window Shop Jewelers. Santa and his helpers will arrive by firetruck and the Northport Chorale and DJ Tommy Bruno will be providing music to get in the Christmas cheer. Hot chocolate and cookies will be given out courtesy of Copenhagen Bakery, Tim's Shipwreck Diner and Northport Feed and Grain.
Northport Village trustees will light the tree at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the holiday traditions continue with the Village's Leg Lamp Lighting at Northport Hardware Store (90 Main St.) at 7 p.m.
