Swimmers Plunge into Frigid Water for Northport Food Pantry
Boy Scout Troop 410 led its fifth annual New Year's Day Polar Bear Swim.
About 250 swimmers dove into icy waters at Steers Beach in Northport fifth annual New Year's Day Polar Bear Swim.
The Swim was sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 410, which raised money for Northport's food pantry.
The swimmers made a quick entry and exit into the 37-degree water. Check out the photos above to catch the action.
