"Window Shopping through Time" Exhibit Opening

The Northport
Historical Society presents its newest exhibit, “Window Shopping through
Time,” which is a recreation of ten stores that were located on Main Street and Woodbine Avenue. Spanning about 100 years, from the 1880’s Morris City
Grocery
with their fresh produce and dry goods to the 1980’s 5 & 10

with their ribbon and toys, “shoppers” will be able to take a stroll through

time while learning the history of many of the buildings that still stand

today. A special opening reception for the exhibition will be held Sunday,

February 16 at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
