Veterans Plaza Park Bench Dedication Honoring Lt.CDR F.J.Minnock (US Navy-Retired)

Honoring Service at Pearl Harbor & Three Wars

Neighbors and friends of Retired Lieutenant Commander Frank Minnock (U.S. Navy) have raised the funds to purchase a park bench that will be placed in the Veterans' Plaza of Walsh Park, on Larkfield Road, East Northport.  A plaque on the bench will honor the thirty years of service of Frank Minnock who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 as well as his service in World War II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam War.  The bench will be assembled and put in place by the General Service Department of the Town of Huntington.  A dedication ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 10th.  Town Supervisor Frank Petrone will preside at the ceremony.  All are welcomed to the ceremony as we honor this true American patriot and all veterans who have served in our Armed Services.
