The Hardest Part of Loving Our Pets: Preparing to Say Goodbye Seminar at Barkfield Road in East Northport
Barkfield Road is pleased to announce a guest seminar and Q&A session with Pet Loss Specialist and social worker Janet Zimmerman, LCSW-R on Sunday, March 29th at 1:30pm. Janet will share coping strategies for dealing with the loss or impending loss of a beloved pet. All are welcome and first time pet owners, shelter volunteers and veterinary office staff are encouraged to attend.
Janet Zimmerman, is a as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience helping clients deal with separation and loss including the loss of their beloved pets. With Janet’s guidance you can help move ahead in your life–not by “getting over it,” but by turning your grief into warm memories and empowering you to feel whole again.
Fee: $10 suggested donation will be given to the local shelter groups.
